A sight for sore eyes, the Royal Hotel in Picton is an upscale experience with four dining areas to choose from. Serving coffee, croissants, cocktails, lunch and dinner. The pistachio croissant is 7 lbs and is in 90% of our dreams. Every item on the dinner menu is a 10/10.

Your one-stop shop for coffee, beers, sandwiches, snacks and bicycle things. Our repeat order is the smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, red onion on brie, but we’ve seen people clear out every last fresh-out-of-the-oven croissant on more than one occasion, so you can’t go wrong.

Banger brunch place with a caesar that brings back anyone from a wine coma. When the breakfast salad is good, you know the classics are fantastic. This is our first choice for a brunch.

This place doesn’t feel like it belongs in Canada. In a good way. It’s like flying to a Cali beach club without the plane ticket. Restaurant, bar, pool, patio, cabanas, with a front row seat to Lake Ontario. What more could you want?

A sustainably-minded restaurant focusing on wood-fire cooking. A high-end, incredible dining experience. Just ten minutes away in Bloomfield. (Hot tip: pick up fresh sourdough from here for breakfast the next morning).
Great patio and hearty, indulgent street food for wine hangovers. Very 80s vibe that never disappoints.
New to the hood, yet feels so familiar. These talented folks specialize in extraordinary food and drink with warm, familial, home cooked vibes, if you cook lavender poached rhubarb, confit shallots, castleveltrqanos and raw wild tuna at home.
BLOOMFIELD
Now each cute little tripod that makes up the county has a cute little coffee shop that goes with it. More than coffee, this place has snacks from Stella’s Eatery, and a perfectly curated gift shop.
Ooo boy, do we love this place. With an extensive and well-curated wine list, high quality farm-to table ingredients, and lovely service, this is one of our top 3.
Great vibes, right next to Sandbanks with the freshest of seafood fare. It’s a no-brainer to follow up a beach day at Sandbanks with a lobster roll here.
